The West Valley Housing Authority (WVHA), formerly Polk County Housing Authority, will receive bids for the Kingwood West Building Sidewalk Project until 3:00 p.m. on the 25th of June, 2017, at 204 SW Walnut, Dallas, Oregon 97338.

The basic work includes: Provide a single prime contract to install and/or replace sidewalk areas as marked on drawings and at the physical site. Price is to include the preparation for, importation and placement, and final finishing of approximately 936 Sq. Ft. of new concrete sidewalk. Work will be performed at the site known as Kingwood West (KW) with the sidewalk located at:

Pre-Bid Meeting Date and Location: All interested parties are encouraged to attend a pre-bid site meeting scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on the 7th of June, 2018, at 1947 Dallas Hwy. NW in Salem, Oregon 97304.

Bids Due: The West Valley Housing Authority (WVHA), formerly Polk County Housing Authority, will receive bids for the Kingwood West Sidewalk Project until 3:00 p.m. on the 25th of June, 2018, at 204 SW Walnut, Dallas, Oregon 97338.

Bid Opening: Following the receipt of all bids meeting the bid due date, time and location above and as required in form HUD 5369, the bids shall be publicly opened and recorded for the public record at 3:00 p.m. on the 25th of June, 2018, at 204 SW Walnut, Dallas, Oregon 97338.

Bid Security, Performance Bond, Right to Reject Proposals: Refer to the Index for form HUD 5369 of the project manual.

Equal Employment Opportunity and Wages: Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Project Manual.

Retainage Requirement: As required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: Retainage is 10%. Interest will not accrue on retainage and bonds or securities may not be substituted as an alternate form of retainage.

The WVHA may reject any bid not in compliance with the prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and may reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in the bidding. Award will be based on a competitive bidding process with consideration given to the best overall value to West Valley Housing Authority.
